The hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were spacious, but the ground floor location made it hard to leave the window open due to security concerns. My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were very clean, quiet, and the bed was super comfortable with crisp white bedlinen, but the flimsy mattress on top of the single beds was a bit problematic as it moved when I turned over. The service was nice overall, though I felt a bit sorry for disturbing the staff to order a beer and pay my bill. The location was convenient for my overnight stay en route, even though it was a bit too cold for the time of year. The dining options were good and reasonably priced, offering a variety of choices, but the quality varied from just a bag of pastries to excellent value, particularly the real coffee. The facilities were satisfactory.
